Three Olympic winners, three World Champions, four World Cup winners, six European Champions and twenty-five riders from among the current top 100 in the world were more than pleased to spend three days (June 8-10) at the Glock Horse Performance Center. With prize money totaling 345,000 euros, the Glock’s 5* Grand Prix stood as the crowning glory of the event. At stake, alongside the substantial prize money, were important points for the World Ranking as well as the chance to fulfill qualification criteria for the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon and the 2019 European Championships.

In the exciting first round over 1.60m, ten participating duos qualified for the jump-off through penalty-free rounds.

At the end of the day, the USA claimed the top two spots on the podium with Beezie Madden taking the win followed by Lauren Hough.

The twice team gold medallist at the Pan American Games current no. 42 in the world, Hough, piloted the 15-year-old KWPN gelding Waterford in the pouring rain.
